  • A Kiwi girl?

  • Yes.

  • You didnt know how to pronounce the toast at the end of the pledge did you? I believe its Slain-che Mah, it means good health. Its Gaelic.

  • Haha yeah. I couldn't really understand the pronunciation guides I found online so I gave up :)I think I need to go over there and drink some beer with the locals to practice.

  • Keith's IPA, an Iconic Nova Scotia beer, not a true IPA. Watered down by it's mass production, but not bad. There are better breweries in Halifax, such as Garrison and Propeller, both of which make a fantastic IPA.

  • Alexander Keith's IPA is a travesty. Worst IPA I've ever had. Ever. More like a light lager. Seems the only decent Canadian beer is made in Quebec.

  • a grand master mason ?

  • york" but in fact it too is a municipality as it is a combination of the 5 boroughs

    and of course, in addition, i <3 keith's! :D

  • halifax is a city, but only in itself. as halifax is the capital of nova scotia and also the largest city. the creation of the HRM does not designate its entirety as halifax, it is a broad term referring to several combined towns which are grouped close together and governing them as one body made things much easier. the only reason halifax is part of the name "HRM" is because, again, it is the largest city and it also is relatively centered amongst the grouping. you still call new york "new

  • Keith himself probably got a kick out of how a room full of people obliterated on his beer attempted to pronounce the end of that pledge, lol.

  • ??????

  • THE PRRRRIDE OF NOVA SCOTIA!!!
