They were in financial difficulty at the time so Free Radical Design was bought out by Crytek and they changed the name to Crytek UK!

They said they will continue development when there is enough demand the market, as they don't want to make the same mistake twice.

@RichieRemix Uh, yes they did. That's why they are now Crytek UK, Crytek bought them after liquidation. That means all current developments were ceased indefinitely. Hopefully the new AAA game they're working on turns out to be TS4.
