You may be old enough but probably NOT SMART ENOUGH. The popular media was interested in the work of a scientist named Schneider who wrote a paper suggesting particulate matter in the atmosphere caused by humans may block enough sunlight to cool the globe. Real science never took it seriously and Schneider later recanted.

I'll stick to actually reading peer reviewed articles for my science, not Newsweek or the back of cereal packages thanks.
