He is a lawyer with an international and national reputation for his work on issues concerning international, environmental and human rights law. He has dealt with international law issues, including a judicial review challenging the UK government's decision to go to war and instructing barristers on the legality of the Mutual Defence Agreement between the US and UK.

Hey, i am from Norway, and studying law, i have heard about Phil shiner, and my curiosity took over, but i could not find so much information about him, could someone help me, and what are his topivs about??

I hope there are more people like Mr Shiner living in UK who has the courage to stand-up, defend and protect our fellow human. In the last twenty years, the politicians and people in power living in UK have mutilated and destroyed what our fore fathers took years to established "English Gentleman".

Phil has helped me and others both pro bono and for minimum fees on land use issues in Birmingham. He's a man of superlative skill and probity. If anyone manages to get Blair to the Hague, and recover British honour, it'll be partly because of the assiduous work of Public Interest Lawyers. Phil lives on a shoestring. He relies on a bicycle to get to work. I meet him now and then when I'm cycling in Birmingham. I'm proud to know him.

Of course Phil has a wealth of experience in areas of brutal conflict - you can get a very painful prick from a paper clip in the cut and thrust of the court room. This man does not wait for his clients to contact him he touts for them and gets the British people to pay the bill ( legal aid ) He is an ambulance chaser - plain and simple!!!
