You are a good guitar player and you have a nice voice, but you clearly have no understanding of that song or any idea of what Robert Hunter was thinking when he wrote it.
I suggest you read the book, Grateful Dead: The Music Never Stopped in which Hunter explains his thinking in writing the song.
I think you are capable of posting a much more mature--and much better--rendition of one of the best songs he ever wrote.
