This is one of two Catalonian Folk Songs by Miguel Llobet that I'll be performing for jury at the end of the Spring 2010 semester. If I recall, this song is about a daughter who is being poisoned by her mother because her mother is in love with the daughter's boyfriend.....just plain EVIL. :) It's still pretty, though.

Nice! I had a lot of fun learning the peice last summer..and it's not as easy to play as you make it look..there's some tough spots in there you play with ease... it sounds great! I like the open Dm chord you added at the end too..gives the tune a little more closure.
