30 Seconds to Mars performing Vox Populi live in Denver, CO, 1/21/11.

Sorry it's a bit shaky, this is my favorite song off TIW and I was rocking out!

  • @XxTheNewGenerationxX Actually, I was just seeing if they always performed like that or if there was, in fact, something wrong with his voice that night. This video helped support the hypothesis that it wasn't just a one-time occurrence.

The name-calling is very mature. You're entitled to your opinion, and I believe I have made mine clear.

  • @Th3S1ckness Then get off the video.

No need to revisit a video of talented musicians just to hate on them. Does anyone here go onto a Justin Bieber video and say "What a shit concert. Not a real musician if he couldn't sing." (Besides the big difference between Justin and Jared; TALENT)

No, yet something in your unintelligent little brain went off, and now you're here. :D

  • @XxTheNewGenerationxX Exactly my point. I'm not a fan. I was ready to be, but their performance killed it. I'll still listen to their studio stuff, but I'm not going to spend my money on any more of their concerts because I'd rather give it to musicians that can perform live.

  • @Th3S1ckness Good, makes room for the actual fans.

  • @XxTheNewGenerationxX Well if that's their idea of how fan interaction has to be, then i don't need to see any more 30STM concerts. The problem is that the definition of concert is, "A musical performance given in public, typically by several performers or of several separate compositions." What Jared Leto was doing could hardly be called a concert since he didn't really perform any music (I'm exaggerating, but I think you get the point).

  • @Th3S1ckness Its really not a 30 Seconds to Mars concert without fan interaction.

  • @Ackles4life Sure, he may need a break now and then. I'm going to try to be reasonable here. I went to that concert to hear some quality music, but instead was very disappointed by the performance. Look at it this way: if it were not a rock concert, but, say, a jazz concert or something, there's no way that a singer would get away with not singing half of the night. They should've canceled the concert and refunded the tickets if he wasn't able to perform.

  • @Th3S1ckness I know u pay to see him (them entertain u), 2 have a good time... but have u ever sang even one of his songs, over a screaming audience, while attempting 2 also let them interact with it... sometimes, the guy just may need a freakin break. Don't u think. Sometimes, after weeks of shredding his vocal cords up, maybe his voice just doesn't work as well as he'd hope. But he gets up there, 4 all of u fans, n does it anyways. I mean damn... just enjoy having been able 2 go 2 a show...

  • he sounds horrible D: he needs to get better so we can get the full effect of the concert... but atleast we know hes there for the fans even tho he's sick

  • I hope he was sick. I also hope he was sick at the concert I went to a couple of days ago in Chicago. Because, imo, the concert sucked. I don't think he sang an entire chorus all night. 30 seconds's instrumentals are OK, but they're really just there to set up the awesome vocals. If the vocals aren't there, it's just bad. If I pay for a ticket, I want to be sung to, not sing.
