  • Eric, you have the best job ever.

  • @nightowl217 you are correct :) THX! :D

  • @sennheiserusa Awesome. Too bad the B52 is so expensive. Was looking at the Apex Peak, woo audio 22 and red wine isabellina myself. I prefer tube since it gives more of a "romantic" listen. :) Anything with tubes you can specifically recommend for your flagship in that price range? Something that doesn't take away the detail, frequency extension and precision u know...

  • @Satfgk i have used both apex models, and they're all fantastic too...the Butte is one of the best values in an amp, solid state or tube.

  • What headphone amp do you prefer with these yourself, Eric? Just curious =)

  • @Satfgk we have no official stance, but have had lovely results with the Ray Samuels B52, Headroom Balanced Ultra, Resonessance Invicta DAC, Benchmark DAC1, SPL Phonitor...there are a lot of great choices out there, some single ended, some balanced

  • The awesome headphone stand shound be included for the price.

  • @sennheiserusa Awesome, thanks man!

  • @JogBird I plugged them into my iPhone 4 and they sounded awesome. After that i listened on a high end headphone amplifier. Yes, it goes louder and the sound was a bit more transparent, but the difference was much smaller than I expected. Even the owner from the hifi store was amazed at how they sounded on the iPhone + Spotify!

The HD 700 should be even easier to drive. And I heared it has more bass, the HD 800 was a little bit bright and bass shy when compared to my own HD 650.

  • @Viczey none taken in the first place--- we get that question a lot actually. hope it helped!
