  • I miss my Jenifer

  • @jdandcoke4meplz I bought it (on Cassette) for "The Walk" but when I heard this I was hooked.

  • this one eluded me for years..my sister's name is Jennifer.

  • I remember people buying the album 'Sweet Dreams ( are made of this ) ' , for the obvious tracks ... Love is a Stranger, and Sweet Dreams. I had heard this album one weekend at my Dad's house, and I came home begging Mum to buy it for me. Not for the 'obviously popular tracks ', but for Jennifer. This song is perfectly haunting, and touches the soul. A masterpiece.

  • Jennifer...where are you tonight?....

    ....Underneath the water.....

  • This song is about her thinking about suicide, according to a friend.

  • I get all tingely when I hear this song,my first and only love is Jennifer, but she loves me not :(

  • Glad to notice I i'm not the only one loving this song. Brings back memories. Was it 1984? Must be. All the nicecest songs were from 1984.

I was 15 years old. Dreaming away with this (and other) songs.

Remember also The Unforgettable Fire by U2? The whole album! I listened it every evening while falling asleep. Must have heard it more than 500 times.

    O well.....

    Cheers,

    Bas

  • my youth
