I was in Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala, India for a few days. As I am stationed now in north Kerala after my re-location from Europe, I do not visit Trivandrum (where I was born) that often. During the vist last week I was able to travel around and inside Trivandrum city and take a long trip down the memory lane. This clip was taken after I met an amazing musician in front of the famous Sree Padmanabha Temple on the 15th of August,Friday, 2008. For the past 47 years he had been making a sort of hand made simple violin and selling it to the public to make a living. Mr Shamsudin played an appropriate tune for me on his violin as it was Indian Independence Day that day. His sound clarity was incredible.Hope u all enjoy his music.
