OK cool... but metal gear is supposed to be a Tactical Espionage Action don't you? I play the saga since the first first metal gear but this game... I don't think its going to be in my saga of metal gear...

I'll look at the film squences, but in the gaming sequences, i mins as well play some devil may cry. Thought the metal gear series was a sneaking game, but it seems that it's gotten mainstream as far as I can tell from this trailer. Too bad! Hope the game is better than this trailer.

Again, I'm not saying that the game will be bad or anything, i still like games like these. But i always loved the MGS games because of the history that all the serie carry with it's name. They made a RPG of the game Haverst Moon, and called it another thing, but they did put Haverst Moon in a part of it's name. It would be an alternative for Rising. Call it (the stupidiest name but still the 1st in mind) "The rise of the ninja: A Metal Gear Story" and not "Metal Gear something"

I wouldn't use Raiden, I would use any other character and name it anything else. Like Kojima helped on creating the game "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow", with a similar playstyle as MGS Rising. Why couldn't they do it again and create a totally new game like that? They got the technology and all, they would need only to use some of their creativity and build differents monsters and all. It's way easier to create a game with an important game name with tons of fans, just changing the playstyle.
