................. um does it really matter if this is part of the MGS series or not, because you know if you can cut somebody up almost as good as Ryu Hayabusa and then throw Ray a few hundred feet into the air you know your baddA***. if it was made to be a stand alone game tho, can at least give it a chance, and dont you think Raiden deserves his own game even if its corny compared to the rest

Damn it Asians why do you have to change everything!? I was so hoping for it to be just like MGS4 except from ridens point of view, but in stead we get dynasty warriors meets street fighter. SO GAY

What the fuck is this shit. We waited years for a serious release and this is what they want to put out. The game play doesn't even seem right. The story is probably gonna suck too. The Metal Gear series is gonna take a major hit for this.

Every time I watch this trailer I keep thinking that any moment Bjork's kick-ass song "Army of Me (Feat.Skunk Anansie)" is going to play in the background. It fits Raiden's character perfectly;)

didnt kojima also say he planned to have Raiden as a main character from the start, he wanted to alternate between snake and raiden, so we havnt seen the end of snake and there will be plenty more raiden, personally i think the faggy anime look is kinda cool and im sure otacon would agree =]

To all people who don't like this, let just remind you this is Metal Gear Rising not Metal Gear Solid. It wasn't Kojima's idea. It was his staff's idea. He said that if he were to choose between making a game with guns or katanas, he would probably choose guns. So the Metal Gear series isn't ruined.
