  • Corperations, though, operate as ndviduals in much the same way that the cells of the body make up an ndvidual human.

I'm not sure I see the merit in taxing people for productivity (money is the surest sgn of production and use to a society). I think corperations should have opt out systems as well.

  • oooh ok. that sounds better..yeah thats what I was thinking too! people who want healthcare pitch in and help keep the money flowing.

and people who dont want to pay for it dont half to get it. that sounds fair.

they should tax big corporations too. that should help with getting money. corporations make very very much money. so it sounds like a good idea

  • That's entirely fine with me. That way, it's an opt out system. And honestly, I'd probably opt in. I see nothing wrong with choosing - for MYSELF, mind you - to help others. When it's mandated through force, the philanthropy sort of looses its edge.

  • They should make it. that people like you dont get health care or help with health care. and people who want it can get it and help with it.

    how about that?

  • Because when it comes down to it it's armed robbery. Even if it's for the greater good, I'm not willing to sacrifice my freedom of choice in how I choose to spend what I EARN. It's immoral for a government to mandate such a thing. Whether or not it is good in the long run is another story, but I think that it would be a bitter-sweet victory at best.

  • ..Well if its helping people..why should it matter?

  • You're reading far too much into what I said. I never said I was against charity or giving to those without. What I'm explicitly against is the use of FORCE to ensure that this happens.

  • I dont get people like you...what wrong with giving like 5- 20$ to someone else so they live? its like..whats wrong with that? people like you. strike me as selfish. I'm sorry if thats offensive. but your selfish you care about yourself fuck the other Americans its all about you. thats stupid.

  • public health care ftw!

"did you research anything at all?" lmao

  • Republicans are generally not very smart people. However, there ARE a nice amount of smart ones who don't agree with public healthcare - and their rasoning is entirely sound. Taking a person's money to give to another person without their consent is thievery. It doesn't matter if it was for the good of another, it's still theft. It's also not MY responsibility to work my ass off in order to pay for someone else - that's just absurd.

Free market economy for all! Ron Paul '08!
