I dont recall this ending ever airing here in the twin cities on wcco,back in 66.

Thanks for this. I was four when this premiered. I remember all the theme songs of the various heroes, but didn't know there was an opening sequence.

on the very last frame, you can see that the producers of these cartoons felt a need to credit Stan Lee and Jack Kirby (as well as Gene Colan and Don Heck)
