Texas has been targeted for 19 new old-technology coal-burning power plants. The Waco area would get the heaviest concentration of these nasty plants. Here's the story of the people in that area who stand to lose so much.

Secondly you assuming NONE of these Coal fired power plants will be utilizing scrubbing technology to remove Sulfur, Mercury, NOX, ect. Of course if you did assume those things your little video wouldn`t get that "fear factor".

Thanks, Ric, for a powerful media response to a HUGE Texas issue. THanks to Annie, too, for the coal fired plant simulation. This is so clearly a health issue, unbelievable that the politicos have been hoodwinked by corporate hogwash. Let's fight to the finish and show the fat cats in Austin what we are really made of. We can follow our smart 73yearold friend's example and fight smart, cuz they're obviously fighting dirty (in more than one sense of the word) on the other side!
