Ok...I'm a cop (14 years). I JUST learned about this story today and I've been GOOGLING info about it for the last several hours. I am SHOCKED at what I've learned in just this short time. If what I've seen is correct, Kilpatrick is a criminal in a position of authority and trust who has butchered that trust. And this "leader" of the police department (her word) is a JOKE! She is a toady who is probably berating Lt. Bowman in an attempt to keep the heat off of her. PATHETIC!

Why would Lt. Bowman (someone I've worked with before) say Tamara was shot 18 times? Perhaps it was to get people thinking when contradicted by the Chief. Tamara was shot 3 times. That should make people think. 18 shots, and it's a drive-by by hoodlums. 3 shots and it's a hit by professionals.
