One thing on "consumption" vs. "cash" as a target. I'm increasingly seeing cases where people cut their cycle time by reducing testing at the expense of quality. That cuts the time-to-consumption, but it can often delay or even extend indefinitely the time-to-cash.
As Goldratt suggests, focusing on cash always works, whether discussing CT or flow.

Ironically, if people are in the position of cutting out testing to shorten delivery time then they are definitely doing testing the wrong way.
