I heard this song first years ago in a website called, Deadbefore40.com which contained articles (even downloadable music files) of famous people all throughout history ranging from Kurt Cobain to Jesus Christ who passed on to the next life before they reached 40 years old - this included Blind Lemon Jefferson who apparently became disoriented by the big city of Chicago, was caught in a snowstorm and froze to death. The website was administered by only one person armed with a unique interest. The website is no longer around today.
Blind Lemon Jefferson is an influential blues singer of the 1920's and the history of American music. "See That My Grave Is Kept Clean" is a classic blues song written by Blind Lemon Jefferson.

@maxwall7755 Well its not Erics fault that so many people bought and liked his music and it isnt his fault that he is white and was born in 1945 and not black and blind and born long ago. If you like this more than Eric Clapton thats okay but dont say anything about him. He has a good life, wheres the problem? If you just like poor mens music then you are a very cruel man because your musicians have to suffer before you like them...
