@hornbyrailway2008 I think that's in the eye of the beholder myself, many think it fits well with the landscape.

lol that would be quite odd indeed
-
its stuff, like that, that makes it an odd place, i think...2 lighthouses, the smallest mainline railway in the world, and 2 nuclear power stations...all they need now is a 200ft tall dog, and then it will be the weirdest place of all time =D

I went to dungeness about 3 weeks ago after taking the RH & Dr railway from Hythe i thought this was a fantastic place to live. Shame about the big power station being there though(what a eyesore).

Look on Google earth how far away (to the west) the substation is from Dungeness B - DNC was always on the books luckily though AGRs off no longer on the books and PWRs are much smaller these days... DNC & DND here we come (hopefully)

After watched your video clip of Dungeness, even I live in Chesterfield, North of Derbyshire, it makes me very passionate. My family (cousins') strong based in Lydd and Dungeness. Some of them used to work at Old Britannia Pub (old site), Hope & Anchor (swept into the sea), PREBBLES (used to live at Pens Bar, Denge Marsh), and more! I have to say Dungeness is my special 'corner' in the whole world. Your film on the light railway is a big plus! Cheers

There was talk of a C station somewhere nearby,
