  • In the old days you drop jets size till it gets dogy then go back up 1 size.

New terms lean is about A/FR 17.5 to 1 power is 12.5 to 1 but most cars are set about 14.8 to 1 A/FR

  • That will happen if the engine is at high rev and load conditions. The only thing that will happen as the mixture is lean out is a misfire (jerking) feeling and consumption goes up. just keep the rpm below 50% of the engine red line. ie 3000rpm if max is 6000

  • according to higherpoweredh20, an excessively lean burn will cause to high a temperature at the top of the piston. He's a racing mechanic.

  • im curious to know how leaning a engine will burn it up,,,, excessive heat from the hho?

  • Thanks for the video. Very interesting. Please don't take this as criticism - I imagine you've heard warnings the about using the efie (o2 calibrate) to lean out the fuel excessively. You can burn up your engine.
