I can only hope that it can be enlarged to help the other 5% of Americans overtime after this bill goes into effect.

The bill will not help only 10000000......It will help 32000000 Americans get insurance with subsidies from the government and enlarge Medicaid to accept more poor Americans. Granted, I wish we get something like Canada or the UK.....but at very least: Obama took a step.

@SupaRandom100 I wish I was living in the U.K. with NHS , U.S.A. has nothing and the Obama care program is a real joke because if americans can't afford to buy insurance what good will a very costly program do but help the disabled providing they are upper middle class or upper class disabled who can afford it maybe about 1,000,000. disabled with pre existing conditions is the only people it will help. That is good for them who don't want to lose assets paying for health care.

Sholanda Fedrick says she has no choice but she has a choice

get medicaid for a nursing home bed, that is a automatic right

to medicaid and she certainly needs to be in a nursing home.

by now she must be in a wheelchair in April 2011.

I am not saying that is a great choice but she can get medicaid

right now and that is it and her medications and wheelchairs

would be paid for. She will have to give up the dog , they don't

allow dogs in nursing homes and all wheelchair low income

housing.

Some of the comments here did not got the healthcare bill right....It will help insued 32 million Americans And give subsidies to poor and middle class people to pay for insurance while expanding the eligibility of Medicaid. Granted 5% of Americans wll still be uncovered after this but it would be an improvement compared to 82% that we currently and hopefully it can be expanded as time goes by.
