the hip hop multi millionaires (and some billionaires) should donate a couple of million dollars to Purdie and Stubblefield...for without these two (mainly) unsung heroes there'd be no hip hop. about time they got the props they thoroughly deserve and not just itty bitty bread crumbs from around the table

@reberldesincausa lol trust me mate, i do. i play trad grip and whenever i try to play with my hand that stiff i injure myself. i can do it matched grip, and i do if i'm going for a more choked snare sound, but in the long term it would be really unhealthy, good sound or not. i don't know how pretty purdie managed to keep playing with that sort of technique for so long.
