Speaking as a composer, how do you go on with your life after hearing this masterpiece? I just know I'm never going to reach this level of lyrical and musical excellency, let alone surpass it. I get almost masochistic pleasure out of this song.

@emelcee3 Qotsa and NIN have similar style music, the difference is that Qotsa's music has more of a rock structure, while NIN, well we both know how Trent likes to make his music :P

@MUZZYMANN500 Haha wat?
Firstly, how do you hear excessive repetition in QOTSA? And if it indeed was repetitive, how would that differ from most other bands? :P

the description says it all

Lullabies isn't my favourite QOTSA album, but I get shivers listening to this song. So good!

@emelcee3 all QOTSA songs are too repetitive, thats what differs them from other bands

the lyrics to this are incredible

All right guys. Love the lyrics. Love the song. I even love Queens of the Stone Age. I think no band is better but NIN. HOWEVER, I do believe this song is too repetitive. And I love QOTSA's sound. Sorry :(

Ok, I gave it another listen with an open mind and open ears, and you're right, it's not as bad as the first time I heard it, and although it is repetitive, it is still bearable.
As for the lyrics, I just looked them up, and I'm quite unimpressed honestly.
But, to each their own. :)
The lyrics to this song are beyond compare. Dear God.
