It's been so long since I played this game. I'm actually kinda embarrased to admit this, but I never actually did find out how to use any of the magic, or buy any of the stats, or anything like that. I literally beat the game using Archer, just nothing but fighting and having a high level. It drove me nuts, but I couldn't find anyone to tell me how to buy stat upgrades or use items. I still beat the game, but I really wish I could have figured out how to do everything ; - ;

Don't be embarrased. I have seen worst mistakes done.

In fact, if you did buy stats in the arcade version, you would regret it because there is a maximum cap for every stat.

You buy stats by spending gold on buying attributes (e.g. 1000 gold for "Add 10 to Strength.") Unlock all characters and use them at least once before buying stats.

There are many ways to use magic The instruction booklet, online guides, and some videos may help.

Those being said, the Archer is a beast.

This Gauntlet Dark Legacy fight is my favorite, because the music is so awesome and Skorne look amazing with temple clothes, mask, and gauntlets.

5:08 - this part of the fight sucks because, you only get one of the items Skorne droped his mask, horns, gauntlets.

i have a green archer who is around level 72 and i just love the desecrated temple!! the music is like a choir and a demon or devil singing or chanting together

I remember playing the Legends version of this for N64. A fun but hard game. Loved it and still do

The archer obviously isn't, unless you buy stats for her.

Not only is the archer is my one of my favorites, she is also one of the best, despite the slight nerf on her BFG.

Although the Jester is weak in armor and strength, he has great speed and decent magic.

If you like using breaths, the Jester and the Knight use them better than anyone else.

I actually like this form of him better than the underworld one. I think he looks so awesome like this!
