This is my Samsung Fascinate, running on the Verizon 3g network. I performed the one click root (learn about in my next video) and benchmarked the phone at a 2093. well over double stock.

Sir can you tell me what rooting does? My friend wants me to do it to his phone to speed it up and make it run smoother.

@monkey4526 rooting puts a custom firmware on it. it allows for much more customization to the phone, including speeding it up(over clocking) and running smoother because it typically isn't as bloated(with software) nor have as many bugs.
