@AlexiusMoore They're the Catalans, and their language is one of the four co-official languages of the country (along with Spanish, Basque and Galician). Catalan is close to Spanish, but not 100% intelligible with it (but probably not under 50%). You can find similar maps on Wikipedia's "Languages of Europe" page. Check it out, it's very informative.

With multiculturalism, culture is not preserved, it is in fact transitioned into whatever ethnic demographic that the host nation has, which demographers suggest in several centuries will no longer maintain the indigenous Europeans.
I understand that you do not empathize why one would not wish to preserve their ethnicity, however our heritage and our culture defines us, race included. One cannot appreciate such when it is not threatened. This is also observed by Indigenous Americans et al.
