I prefer firearms that are simple in operation, IMO this seems overly complex

It's a little harder to switch barrels on the aug than it is on the ARX160. It's not bad on the aug by all means, just not THAT easy.

This is a winner.

About a year ago I had the idea in my head for the switching the side of the ejection port because I'm left handed THEY TOOKS MY IDEA

How much will they run for when there out? I'm guessing cause its a beretta its going to be a chunk of cash.

I was just thinking that. The AUG has a little latch you just undo, twist and pull if I recall.

"It's the only gun that can have a barrel change as quick and as simple as you see here"
Well that's not entirely true: the AUG had that funky handle switch.

@chibicascade just like the LWRC did to the HK416/MR223

@5687678 It does. However, I think Beretta has put its prototypes through some serious testing. Beretta has good rep and I don't see why they would screw it up. This could actually be something that many people have been waiting for. I am really waiting to hear how it turns out accuracy wise.

That, is what ACR SHOULD've been!
MagPul came up w/an awesome concept, prototype/working unit. Then Bushmaster's corp heads at Remington/CerebusGroup had to screw it up in the typical cost plus scheme targeting gvt contracts. This is what happens when price signal of the Free Market Econ. becomes absent. Otherwise, a polymer carbine intended to replace AR would be 2lbs lighter, not heavier & cost less; POF offers non-chrome NP3 coating on bolt/carrier/barrel for $2000 MSRP! What's ACR's excuse?
if it take them 2 years to release it to civilians, there won't be much of a market left. I've already seen other manufacturers mimicking its innovations. In 2 years, it is going to be surpassed.
