@Jikeee There is nothing to explain. There is nothing out of context. An order to murder, is an order to murder. Period. It doesn`t matter for what purpose. It doesn`t matter if the order was given to kill the Israelies or the Hottentots. It doesn`t matter if the order was given 3,000 years ago or yesterday. God`s holy bible contains orders to murder people for insignificant transgressions.

@ndzoko @ndzoko I feel so sad every time when I see someone quoting the bible without knowing the actual meaning of it and that doesn't know in what context it stands and what God actually wants to tell us with it. The bible is so much more then we think it is. There is so much misunderstanding !

Please go to the church and ask a spiritual leader for explanation. Like the bible says itself: You can't possibly understand the bible without the Holy Spirit explaining it to you.

@ndzoko witch desirves death. Because God is so Holy, no sin can live in His precense. But does it mean we have to kill eachother? This is where Jesus comes and says, "those who are without sin, let him throw the first stone". Because no man is without sin no man can kill those sinners that you talked about (homosexual, those who hit their fathers etc). Only God can, because only He is without sin.Instead of alowing us to take what we desirve (death) He saved us by taking the death upon Himself

@ndzoko Dear ndzoko. I see that you have read the bible. Too bad you didn't really study it. Because if you did, you would have understood it. All that is written about sin and the punish of sin in the old testament is just to show us what sin is. To make us aware of it. And what sin leads to (death), litteraly and spiritualy. You quotet: adulterers, kill them. Jesus said that if you even so much of think of sleeping with that person, you're commiting adulerary. So even then you are sinning
