SNES Battle Mobile (Gekitotsu Dangan Jidōsha Kessen)

I really love this game. Its like "Spy Hunter" meets "LED Storm" meets Super Nintendo. You have to stay on the road, bump off enemy vehicles, launch missiles at helicopters (sadly, not to other cars) and try to keep an eye out for energy pick ups to stay alive. The levels are varied and the graphics are really good. Like Contra III / Super Probotector, you can only see (and play) the real ending if you set difficulty to hard. Also, like Contra III, this game is crazy fun with 2 players! Not only you have a special attack by colliding both cars together (a sort of smart bomb) but accidental player death by being rammed off road by your friend are a common sight. No clue why this was never released in the west... maybe no one dared to publish a 12 mbit cart in the west back in 1993? We may never know.

@TimelordR , Well System Sacom never had any of their games released over to the Unided States because they did not have an American division.

This would have been 1 of the best games ever for the SNES had an American publisher decided to bring it to the U.S..

I mean, you have seen the movie Mad Max, right? Since the plot for Mad Max is just like this game. And have you also played the game Road Avenger? Because this game's like a non-FMV version of Road Avenger.

The plot for this game reminds me of the video game Road Avenger, the main character's wife is killed by some gangsters while on a honeymoon, and he goes out for revenge in a red sports car. Even the car resembles the car from Road Avenger! And the movie Mad Max has the same plot, avenging the death of your wife at the hands of a ruthless street gang.

When you look at the background, its as if you're constantly going at the speed of sound. This game looks really fun to play.
