In this video, the NH House Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee nearly votes to pass legislation that would tax and regulate marijuana. The motion failed 8-10, and then the committee voted 16-2 to refer the bill for interim study.

  • Im Devastated that it didnt pass, but by the way they were talking about it, when the study is finished and they are more educated, they will almost definitely legalize it.

  • From the comments from Rep. Gagne, all the testimony offered changed some minds on the committee. Even with the batting lineup starting with four heavy hitters _against_ from the exec & judicial branches.

  • Man, they were so close! From the way they talked about it before the vote, I actually thought it would be passed. At least they are putting it in interim study and not just throwing it out the window.
