  • Well why bad mouth something you once avidly beleived in why did you get baptized? Wow I really don't care what other people do they have a right to worship whoever and however they want, they don't need you to influence them one way or the other just as you have decided it want for you. Frankly I believe it to be silly that offer would bad mouth any religion they once thought was suitable for them.

  • @yolanda1972ification It always surprises me just how truly ignorant and small minded people can be. You do realize that this was a "religion" forced upon me as a child? The ideals of the Watchtower Inc were literally beaten into me with a belt. Perhaps I am against the Watchtowers approval of violent child abuse. Perhaps I am against the protection of pedophiles. Maybe I just want to warn others so their children don't spend the majority of their teen years contemplating suicide like I did.

  • I mean what is your argument exactly? I assume you were disfellowship becaause of fornication. Now turned apostate, being said you've made your desision. As to how you'll love your life, why does it matter what Jehovah's Witnesses believe or what they do? Obviously it wasn't for you now allow others the freedom to choose. What do you care?!

  • @yolanda1972ification I know you would like to assume that all "apostates" were disfellowshipped for fornication. I officially dissassociated myself and it had nothing to do with fornication. And how exactly am I taking away others freedom to choose?

    That's okay, I was talking to "60438-something" anyway. :-)

  • @laflugantabastardo What does it say about what? And forced? Sorry, not following you.

  • @6043860438

I'm glad you're free to do what you want with your time and that you feel comfortable in your faith, but consider there's a multitude of cultures at work here. Attitudes differ from area to area - hell, they differ from person to person! Some have great experiences, some have horrible experiences. Some JWs are great, some are complete assholes. And that's okay, we're all people.

A question: Perhaps you're not forced, but what does your literature say about it?

  • @Bellerspitts

Wait, I do not think they want the adherents their money. I mean, they could easily force in tithing or something or put some social pressure on giving more. I think there's an alternative reason.

May I suggest self-preservation across all tiers? As my favourite writer once stated: "When a creature has developed into one thing, he will choose death rather than change into his opposite."

  • OMG I saw a cigarrete on the begining and I got scared ¬¬'

  • @laflugantabastardo Silly word? Don't be precious. Ever heard of a cyclist? Geologist? Typist? Botanist? You knew exactly what it is. Obviously you've dismissed out of hand any evidence for the validity of the bible,so little point going into it is there? If you accept all those fables and maybe stories that constitute evolutionary evidence, good for you, believe away. Bio-informatics renders the theory null and void before it can even begin.

  • @Copsweet

    > Evolutionist-1 who believes/accepts the the theory of evolution.Evolutionist-1 who believes/accepts the the theory of evolution.

How silly to think up such a word. Does that mean there's also gravityists? And atomists? I mean, it's all equally proven and used in our daily lives, so...

    > All I can say is,the truth is in the Bible.

Well, you're just going to have to prove that, right? Being a skeptic that should be no problem for you.

  • @laflugantabastardo All I can say is,the truth is in the Bible. We do our best collectively and as individuals to adhere to every word of it. Evolutionist-1 who believes/accepts the the theory of evolution. Something I used to do,til I applied some critical thinking and skepticism to it.
