Anyone who knows Fripp knows he doesn't do autographs. It would have perhaps been better if you'd said "Good Job on making Bruford totally reinvent himself back in '81."

An especially warm smile (as you both continued about your journeys) would have been a blessing for you both.
What if you had engaged another person, not shown here, in a cheerful conversation around Fripp, whose warmth and intelligence would have proved inviting for all, including Fripp? Sometimes I ask travelers what book they are carrying ....
Fripp, like Justin Timberlake, must get exhausted from intense introductions and superficial conversations with fans and stalkers.
