Shit like this probably didn't help Don Bluth's cartoon making career too much

sure... 20 years later!

I have this on Blu Ray and the 2 Dragon's Lairs.
-
I wouldn't call that "directly"
i'd rather say they animated the game the best it could be done in such a system. It's no full motion video.

I know that (although I had it on the st), but changing the disks is something you completely miss in the Jaguar version ;)

There's also a Dragon's Lair 3 (Timewarp) and Dragon's Lair 4 (Revenge of Mordred). The last one can only be played on a Commodore Amiga or Amiga emulator.

You are correct, Jaguar was the best for its time (1996), but we Commodore Amiga owners had already been playing the game since the 1980s.
Instead of using a CD, the game was directly digitized and stored on a floppy! No other PC, Mac, or game console could bring the feel of the arcade to the 80s-era home.

Excellent animation and nice sound make me like that great stuff for my Jaguar. This version of the game was the best at that time!
Go Jaguar, Go Jaguar!
