haha..nice seeing all those familiar faces again. the first chord really made me go "whoa~!" fmss's forte is still those "holy songs" (quote ms lim >D) that really brings out their colour..:))

Everyone no matter how good can go wrong. Its obviously the conductor's fault for doing karimantanu at such a slow and boring pace. Ms Lim's schools did do very well for SYF but that doesnt mean she will never make a mistake. I did watch their performance onstage By The Way.

being a junior in fmss's choir (sec 1) i find miss lim & mrs on exceptionally skilled! just that they're both strict. but mrs on, is really nice! she taught me(choir) in primary school. :D she rawks!! keep up da good work fmss choir!

being a senior of fmss. i don't think its right to blame miss lim. basically it was the unprepared state of mind of the members and the jitters that cost them the gwh. but cheer up! everyone is proud of u all =D you guys still sound great as ever =)

excuse me, i dont see why the conductor is to blame. their sound is real good, of GWH standard but i dont think its fair to push the blame on the conductor. you have to understand that marks are given based on the performance onstage. her schools did really well for SYF this year, nearly all obtained honours. she cant go wrong.

Well, i tot ur sound is definitely a gwh no doubt, for secondary. u guys have superior technique to many choirs who have gotten gwh like anglican high school and esp river valley high school. i sat through the whole syf, i shld know. wat cost u guys d gwh was d misinterpretation of karimantanu. it isnt ur fault n ms lim is being too mean by saying u guys got gold becos u were complacent. if theres somthg wrong with d interpretation, its definitly d conductors fault.

if there is one thing I wld comment on is that FMSS choir have always had a very good Soprano section. Must keep up with it. Always consistent in terms of sound, quality and control. I think what cost you the GWH is the guys' sound. Generally raw and not well-blended. At certain parts, it almost sounded like shouting becasue they were strain to hit the notes.
