  • Two shots and a feed jam. If you didn't knock out that tank you'd be jam. LOL

  • @ronaldli5 it fires a high velocity bullet made of hardened tungsten carbide. it was designed to pierce the armor of tanks, specially if the shot was aimed at the engine compartment it could disable it. later in the war it couldn't pierce the heavier panzers, but it could still pierce lightly armored trucks. soviet snipers sometimes used them against germans hiding behind sandbags.

    14.5x114 is nearly twice more powerful (31kJ of muzzle energy vs 17kJ of .50) and equipped with AP bullet.

    However, .50's ballistic is more suitable for targeting.
