cowboy bebop live action movie cast

My thoughts when it comes to the movie cast of the upcoming live action cowboy bebop movie. The idea of James Franco playing the character of Spike Spiegel is not made by me, but the youtube-user "ronaproject". In my opinion a very good choice, so I copied his proposal into my movie-cast.

I looove James Franco. He's awesome. But Maggie Gyllenhaal? That girl can't act at all. She was the ONLY thing I disliked about Dark Knight.

That's a pity. I don't really know her acting skills I just saw a pic of her and decided that she has THE eyes of faye. Therefore i fell in love with her playing miss valentine. But if she really can't act - as you say - there must be found a better solution. Because this movie HAS to be a burner!

i agree with all but your choice for vicous i mean vigo has got the wrong face for him some like luke Goss from hell boy 2...he is a great martiasl artist and has wicked skills wi a sword and can do many strange and good voices

Really good choice! Although I think Viggo has the face of Vicious, Luke Goss (i haven't heard from him until now) definately has the face as well. He's nearly exactly looking like him, plus he seems to be at a more fitting age.

Anne Hathaway as FAYE? Her getting the role of Selina Kyle was enough of a stretch. She's a good actress but she doesn't pull off sex appeal like Faye or Catwoman. I'm surprised no one's mentioned Mary Elizabeth Winstead (from Scott Pilgrim) as a possible Faye.

(because I ran out of space) As for Vicious, again, I never pictured Viggo but now really like the choice. Ever seen Eastern Promises? See that movie and tell me Viggo wouldn't make a great Vicious. Diane Kruger, the most beautiful woman on the planet, is the only person I want to see playing Julia. But the best casting of all? Michael Imperioli as Bob. Tell me that's not fucking perfect.

Never thought of James Franco as Spike before, but I like the idea now. I always liked Zachary Levi as Spike. I believe Levi is a better actor then most people think he is, and Spike would be a great role for him to stretch his acting wings. Javier Bardem, is pitch fucking perfect, and has always been been my first choice for Jet. Anne Hathaway or Emily Blunt are the only two actress I can see as Faye, and the one-the only Chloe Moretz would be perfect as Ed.
