fatal insomnia

I toyed with the idea of creating a short Film-noir style machinima using GTA 3 a while back. I didn't get very far into the process, but I ended up with an interesting little piece that I thought I'd share. Note the fraps watermark and the fact that I didn't figure out how to get rid of the HUD until halfway through the process, but didn't bother re-shooting :P

At it's simplest, it's video recorded in a real-time game engine. And you're right, anyone -can- do it, that's the joy of machinima, all you need is an idea and some simple tools and you're away. Much easier than trying to film things for real.

yeah no offense this is pretty crappy machinima if you want to see simple machinima very well executed go watch the red vs blue chronocles havent seen them in ages but the originals always had me crackin up
