as its DC currant i guess it would of been better if the inverters was where the panels was then run the AC cable to the Utility box, as you would of needed some big cables to take 2x10KV of DC currant to the inverters, i would of thought as you should lose a lot of power from the panels to the inverters (still nice 9.7KV per inverter, they are very big as well never seen ones like that before)

Nice neat installation! Very professional looking. Now that you have had it for awhile, was it a good investment? Worth the effort? I have a farm up in Maine and I am thinking along these lines. Thanks.

Systems have come down in price tremendously in the past 6 months. Currently, ground mounted systems are running $6-6.50/watt.
This 20 kw DC rated system is enough to power 4-5 average size homes.
