@minitruckin1988 if he shifts too early, then his rpm's will be below the powerband in the next gear, not to mention, the powervalve on a 2 stroke is adjustable if you know your stuff, ive had dirtbikes and shifter karts all my life. he was not shifting too late by any means, the powerband on these engines can span all the way to 13,000 plus rpm's if adjusted to do so. he knew what he was doing.

waiting way too long to shift, its a 2stroke the powerband is very short. i will accelerate faster if shift faster through the gears.
