@Silktribe the competence and skllz to handle media and media influences in a responsible way. Be it viedo games, movies, art or even news. The way these things are adressed is the deciding aspect. To release anger in music can be healthy or even therapeutic because it allows these feelings to be expressed. It's a vital part of grwing up to adres these feelings and learn to express them in productive ways.

@amberpalms As a social worker I encounter many young people having difficulties to get a grip on life and cope with its sometimes overwhelming demands. Absused, neglected, forced to grow up too fast, hostile environments, social isolation, mobbing, you name it. In general I can say that music gives troubled kids an opportunity to identify their issues and concerns in abstract way, channeling anger and frustration to something positive. In any case there IS a need for teaching them
