  • @thevisitortjn2 Yes they did! I have to admit i cried alittle! it was about 2 weeks ago, at about 11.00pm at night, i my still have it on the Hard drive....will check for you! cant remember the channel.........

  • @TirauChick Don't tell me they showed 'A Love Story' and i missed it again !.

    Searching Sky Watch mag....Heartland TVNZ7 U ?.

  • @thevisitortjn2 Did you see the doco the other night? Superb! but sad

  • LOL - "Why do I get all the hot jobs?!"

    I love these two.

  • Classic !!!

I used to wag college to go home and watch them on South Pacific Television (now TV2).

Was disapointed to see on the 'Cooking' episode of From The Archives on Heartland, there was only a few mins of the same episode of H&H's that is on the TVNZ 'on demand' site.

Would love to see 'A Love Story' the doco about them, would work well on Heartland.

Love this clip around 17 mins in where Pete is getting stressed, but David is knocking back the red wine. LOL

  • i love these guys lol

but they were more than lovers they were soulmates

Halls missed Hudson and probably wanted to be with him to put it mildly

    God bless them both now

Probably both cooking up a storm in heaven :-)

  • So sad. They were lovers for 25 years. Hudson died of cancer and Halls commited suicide one year later.

  • It was really funny when they got drunk... I especially remember the time they put salt into whipped cream instead of sugar.

  • they were delightful. Great if they could re run these shows as they do with the two fat ladies.

They are quite ground breaking and ahead of their time. Whaqt a sad loss.

Untrained chefs yet better than many TV chefs and less stuffy.

  • These two were lovely. They made a series in the UK for the BBC in the eighties, where they served their meal to a guest at the end of the show. Little chance now of a repeat, I suppose, but it would be lovely to see it again. They had a wonderful habit of throwing anything that they'd finished with onto the floor to clear up later. I still follow their example to this day. ;)
