The RMS Olympic was the first ship of the Olympic-Class RMS (Olympic, Titanic, Britannic). They were build between 1908 to 1914. Olympic and Titanic were the first one to launch and saw their self, Britannic saw the Olympic also.

RMS Olympic proved in the World War 1 that she will see that she would overcome the tragedy of her sistership of Titanic, and I think the sinking of Britannic was too much for the Olympic. Olympic did a good job, and destroyed an Germany Submarine.

RMS Olympic turned in service again by 1920. An new sister joined her, the 56,000 GRT Majestic. They will both sail to their final fate. RMS Olympic would have been saved in 1935, but nobody did care about the historic vessels. Only Majestic was saved, Mauretania and Olympic weren't.

The steamships should be rebuild, as they were and let them sail with the cruise-ships together!!

  • RMS Olympic, Pride of Harland & Wolff & the pride of the White Star Line. Olympic was a gorgeous Ocean Liner. A very lovely ship.

  • Bet they wish they knew what that ship would mean to us now.

  • What an amazing, Grand, and Majestic Ship!

  • so sad it was broken down

  • Olympic was a beautiful ship. She did so much and they scrapped her.......Almost like they didn't even appreciate everything she did for them. :( We miss you Olympic. My Beautiful Old Reliable, RIP :')

  • Olympic a big, Beautiful and luxurious ship. sailed a across the Atlantic in Civilian service between 1911-1915 and after WW1 till 1935.

To Me Olympic is the god of all ships despite the loss of her 2 sisters Titanic and Britannic Olympic carried on until the very end when she was scrapped in 1935.

She served as a troop ship during WW1 she battled and sank U-103 and every time she had an accident she survived.

Rest In Peace to Olympic, Titanic and Britannic they will always sail into our hearts

  • Olympic was indeed a magnificent ship. More than that, a Magnificent Ocean Liner. The Olympic was the most beautiful ship White star had ever built, along with Titanic. Here's to the Olympic.
