That's funny, I have handled racehorses too, but i still think, that it's harder to handle a DWB than a thoroughbred.
But maybe it's because a TB is handled from birth, while some DWB is turned out until they're 3 years old.
When i say calm, I'm thinking of the winners circle and paddock area.
Anky van grunsveen can't take her horse into the prize presenting, because he freaks out and I know that trakehner stallion Kaiser Wilhelm doesn't like it either.

@diangofango trust me.... racehorses are NOT calm. Some are, yes, but very few are as calm & accepting as Zenyatta. I work with racehorses, I only WISH they were calm lol =)

She's just so perfectly calm throug all this.
One of our Danish Warmbloods would get stressed with all the people and get tense and agitated.
That's why I love racehorses, they're always so calm, and then when it's time, they put their show on.
I'm a RA fan to, but I think that Zenyatta would make big accomplishments, even as a showjumper or 3 day eventer.
She's just magnificent.

I've seen her run "like a girl"! I've seen her "dance" in the paddock and in the post parade. I've cried and gotten goosebumps when she WINS! For those people who are seeing Queen Zen for the first time - ENJOY!! She will leave hoof prints on your heart; she did me!
