bmw 540i Nitrous test run 5th gear and tapped.

This pull is with 100shot.. Car was being sprayed from 100-145ish when i shifted to 6th. Was not sprayed in 6th gear as I bounced off the 155mph speed limiter

@phatty5bmw Well while you may be on the right track, you made two incorrect statements. Not ANY performance chip removes the speed limiter. As you can see here MY speed limiter is still in tact, but my red line was moved 1000 rpms higher. Chipping was done by Active Autowerkz here in Miami. And it is not pegged at 160, its pegged at 155 electronically limited.

if you remove your standard ecu chip and replace it with a modded chip, it removes your top speed limiter witch should let you do as fast as you want depending how much hp you have.. your speed gauge pinned out at 160 but your rpm was sitting on 5000rpm for about 25 seconds.... why do ppl have to lie on youtube for , faaarrrk

@ej20shita No idea what you are talking about. I have clearly stated several times, that I am sitting on the stock speed limiter which is set at 155mph. Reading comprehension > You.

I had taken the car to Active Autowerkz in miami, to supposedly have the speed limiter removed, and a couple of other things, but you can clearly see here, they screwed me. I wish I still had the car so I could go there and bitch for a refund, but whats done is done.

@ej20shita before you start talking, please make sure you know what you are talking about. BMW speedometers are designed to "overcompensate" speed readings after about 40mph for legal reasons. At 162mph (speedometer speed) you are actually going 155mph (gps aka real speed)

if you open the gauge thing and bend the speeedo needle you can make the car go faster it adds 70more hp to go real fast dude ya
