KTM supermoto vs ZX-10R

A lap of the "Ecuyers" circuit following a KTM supermoto onboard my ZX-10R. Filmed during a track day, the KTM is fast in the twisty turns of the track but it's power down the straight line is no match to that of the awesome ZX-10R.

zx10 r dude runs corners way wide compared to the chap on the ktm who hits the apex much more. even if the zx10 is just following.. mate u need to take some lessons off the ktm rider in how to enter and exit corners!!! hes quicker at getting on the go out of corners too!!

Supermotos are fun as HELL. But to really ride, i would pick the supersports Bike everytime.

No doubt, sumos are definatly faster through turns. But on the street with many straights that doesn't serve you.

Judging by what I've seen at some track days, more riders need to focus on learning to ride a slow bike fast. Too many people with zero skill trying to wrestle a 170+hp monster around a track. Nearly every accomplished racer on the planet starts small and works their way up; somehow the general public thinks they are superior.

The Torque and pull the Supermoto has out the corners is quite impressive,
