Just watched a BBC4 programme about the Gershwin song 'Summertime'.This was one version i had to check out.Fantastic reading/reworking of it.

@TheJungleCook .. it's the big tune from Porgy and Bess .. and yes it's written by George and Ira Gershwin. btw, google can answer all these questions for you in a flash.

@TheJungleCook No, it was writen and composed by George Gershwin in the 30's. I think that he created this song for a opera, but i don't know the name.. Sure, Lloyd Clarke is not the original writer!

@TheJungleCook Ah, my mistake: George Gershwin has composed the music but the lyrics was writen by DuBose Heyward and Ira Gershwin.
