(Uploaded late, but it's here!)
Today we talk about the Slippery Slope.

Enjoy.

I've had a massive number of exams, I haven't forgotten the other projects, they are pending :)

  • oh death to Christian schools, we've been taught that pornography is a gateway to becoming a serial murderer, (they brought the ted bundy interview and everything), and every fallacious argument you just mentioned as class material. I can't believe i bought that.

  • Even the "slippery slope" non-fallacious argument doesn't hold water in that you would also have to establish that the first element of your chain is the *ONLY* cause for the second element in the chain. There can be more than one cause for many of the intermediate steps. It's a tilted slope, not a rail, and there is more than one path to the bottom.

  • That was great, Jordan. Everyone seems to forget to pay attention to the kind of shoes worn when traversing the "slippery sloap".

  • Have you done the 'No True Scotsman' that get's thrown around ALL the damn time? I'll have to go back and see XD Literally every discussion I have with a theist, the NTS will come out somewhere, it gets quite tiresome.

  • Good series. 5* Maybe you will take a crack at ad hominem one of these fridays. Thats a phrase that gets thrown around a lot here on youtube.

  • lack of consent is where the abuse part comes in. So, not the specific wording, but still implied.

  • oh wow! i wish i could go see bb and budy, there is guitar shop down the road from my house that sells the polka dot strat. As i type this i'm trying to make a replica of SRV 1 strat.

  • Hey, Blue Moon... I drink that all the time (well, not ALL the time... that would be alcoholism). Anyways, good stuff.

  • In your sexual relationship example, you might want to mention consent, as that is another major difference between homosexuality and the other relationships mentioned.

  • great video. my favorite friday fallacy so far!
