Water fasting for weight loss & health! 30 day water fast! This is my second long water fast that lasted over ten days. My first long term water fast I did 6 yrs ago and it lasted 14 days. I have done many water fast over the years but most only lasted under a week. I am doing my water fast for weight loss as well as fasting for detoxification & health reasons.

Water fasting can add many benefits to your life. Most importantly adding to your happiness & health.
Just make sure when you end a water fast you go right into a healthy "eat clean" life style!

  • @carrerasubway The reason you loose fat so quickly during a fast is because you are in a elevated detox mode. Fat is simply storage space for toxins. So if you've the extra energy for detox that is usually going to digestion you will expect to loose weight much more quickly. I think the body knows what it's doing. Obviously, you do not.

    The body should not lose weight that fast, your organs will shut down and you will die, exercise and eat healthy and lose the weight slooow.

  • Tips to Fasting 1. KetoStix - Use em if you want to know your in Ketosis. 2. To curb cravings and hunger pains tighten your belt. Seriously this puts pressure on the stomach and fools it into thinking you full. Also thats the time to drink your water. 3. Drinking seltzer water also helps as the gas expands in your stomach it also gives you a full feeling. 4. Keep talking. Have a conversation, about something deep that makes you think and keeps you mind off food.

  • @vtgreeley1 im guessing you gradually go back, like eat a slice of bread a day then drink a load of water. Then the next day have a salad or sandwich, then soup then a small lunch etc.

  • @LivingByAhimsa - High carb foods, your thinking of foods that will give you a lot of carbs which you are not getting. So your thinking of high carb indexed foods.

  • One thing I always notice with fasting, is food dreams! Don't even eat meat, as a vegan and still will dream of a juicy steak burger or something.

  • Thank you for posting this - very interesting to see someone with kids and a job fasting from home. I am in a similar position and am wondering if it is possible to do. My ideal is to retreat, but my karma is to be in the world for now. I would be very interested to hear how your fast continued and ended, and how you're doing now. I did a long juice fast a few years ago but found the transition back to food very difficult ~ Lisa
