What he said is "Don't worry about the dog" There was a dog in the garage that they were trying to coax out, you can hear it barking. They should have been concerned about the door and not the dog!

Correction to DanClerico...this was NOT in Montgomery Sta. 45 district. They did respond to the scene, but it was not their fire!

I'll assume you're telling the truth, and ask the following questions

--How many fire fighters were on the scene at the time the guys got trapped in the garage?

--Why was there no RIT?

--How long into the incident did this take place?

--How bad were the injuries?

--How did the door fall?

well for starters, typicaly we fight from the uninvolved side. Also we use the 2 in 2 out rule as well as a RIT team. I see no command structure or dicipline on this call you people are lucky you are not DEAD

I posted a few comments a while back. I would suggest some (or all) of you read the previous posts regarding this footage. A lot of your questions will be answered. I was the cameraman of this footage and I will be happy to answer your questions w/ one understanding....I will answer in the attempt to train firefighters, not bash them. Mistakes happen at every fire scene in America, learn from them!

Oh boy where to start??? Where in the hell was your RIT team, maybe your too small of an FD to have one, thats ok Secondly why wasnt the door blocked open??? Last why are there 4-6 so called firefighters standing around knowing a fellow FF is inside lost, pack up and get in there tug on the line go in for him dont just stand there and call for him like a dog. judgeing by the smoke there was immenent danger of flashover, so why didnt anyone go in????
