The alleged LTC could have called me on it and I would have agreed. The moment he started using a threatening tone and calling me names his conduct became unbecoming that of an officer, retired or not. If he'd been an Army officer as he says, he would know that my rank is abbreviated SSG no Ssgt(as the USMC and AF do). He would know who to call without using the whole alphabet soup. Major fail there LTC. I too think he's a POSER.

Ernie Pyle lived and died with the grunts. Never cussed a bit. Was highly able to get his point across without being rude.

And frankly, he did it in a war that is so far beyond anything we've ever seen as to make the Iraq war look like a Sunday picnic.

And being harsh out in the field and at a computer terminal are two entirely different things.

I rest my case.
